Welcome All New and Existing Players and Supporters of Griffith Rugby to the 2010 season which sees Griffith Rugby celebrate its 50^th Anniversary.

We have a new President this year in David Ireland. There have also been some changes to the Committee with an enthusiastic mix of executive and non executive members. Brad Johnstone is the Club's Vice-President, Peter & Marlene Waring-Bryant are the Club Secretaries, and Ashley Gunn has taken on the Treasury role. The Committee for 2010 looks forward to continuing the exceptional work and effort carried out by the 2009 Committee.

Congratulations also extend to our new First Grade coach for 2010 Pana Luamata. Will De Meyer has come on board as Second Grade Coach and together the coaching staff look eager to make 2010 a successful year for the players and an entertaining one for supporters. 

Pre-Season Training has commenced from Tuesday 19th January at the Coro Club Oval. Pre season training will be under the guidance of the Griffith Aquatic Centre staff on both TUESDAY and THURSDAY Nights at 6.30pm. The venues will be varied and the timetable as shown in the calendar link on the home page.    

In 2010 the Griffith Blacks are looking forward to all current, future and past players, members and supporters helping celebrate 50 YEARS OF GRIFFITH BLACKS RUGBY on the weekend of the 5th of June.  As a part of the year’s celebrations, Griffith will be looking to field a 3^rd grade team to see if a few old players have still got the rugby skills they once possessed.

In 2010 and we are all looking forward to a successful 50^th year of BLACKS RUGBY (1960-2010)
